There are only so many days of summer,
but that doesn’t mean you have to rush
through them.

Slow down this year and enjoy your whole vacation, not just your Grand Marais destination. The old punchline is “winter and road construction,” but as you plan your summer getaway, we’re working on all sorts of ways to make your trip to Grand Marais even more enjoyable.

This year, if you really want to avoid the traffic, take off a day early, plan a four-day weekend or a mid-week trip. And remember, the Scenic Scenic Route is the best way to Grand Marais.
