The Grand Marais RV Park and Campground and Recreation Area offers a modern RV park and campground, municipal marina and public park which frames the entire western shore of the harbor and the bluffs beyond. A variety of campsites are available through State Parks, Forest Service and private campgrounds. Dispersed campsites, which offer a wilderness experience without actually entering the BWCAW, are located at several of the inland lakes in the Superior National Forest. A wealth of information is available from the Minnesota DNR (state parks), USDA Forest Service, Superior National Forest Gunflint Ranger District and Grand Marais Visitor Information Center.
