We're ready to let this great winter melt away into spring. Since November 5th, we had ample snow to support all of our winter activities, but the rushing waterfalls are undeniable proof that the season is over. See you next year on the trails and slopes!

Last update: April 21, 2008

Farewell to the pure white snow! With a little luck, we'll be updating the trail report again by early November 2008!

A Minnesota Ski Pass is required and may be purchased at any of the gas stations in the county. For the Central Gunflint Trails system, passes may be obtained at either Golden Eagle Lodge or Bearskin Lodge; for the Upper Gunflint Trails, at Gunflint Pines Resort, Heston's Resort, Moosehorn Lodge or Gunflint Lodge, since these businesses maintain those trails. For the Banadad artery trail, the state pass is required. Also, please remember that dogs and sleds are not allowed on groomed ski trails - thanks.

Snowmobile rentals are available at (call ahead!):
Steve's Sports, Grand Marais, 218-387-1835
