Wildlife viewing is on everyone’s list. You can do a lot more for a lot less and have a whole lot of fun while you’re doing it. Park your car (free parking everywhere) and nose around our pedestrian-friendly downtown. Take in that postcard-perfect harbor scene with moored sailboats, the lighthouse, and the Big Lake beyond. Grab a bite at one of our eclectic restaurants or brown bag it with lunchables from one of our three grocery stores, including our organic co-op. Then adventure on to one of many free festivals or events—there’s something happening practically every weekend of the year. Remember: you can’t put a price tag on fun. Get to Grand Marais, and see how much more you can do.
